This fee cited by the ASPS only includes the professional fee only and does not cover other costs during the treatment and is for one session of treatment only.   The estimated average cost per region for only one treatment is $450 for the Midwest and $425 for the East while the South fetches a lesser average of $400 and at the West, it is at $420.

Those who are considering laser hair treatment should consider a number of factors before going for it.  Aside from the cost of the treatments, one should first look up a qualified cosmetic surgeon who could do the procedure.  After finding one, a consultation with this doctor should be done to assess which areas needs to be worked on and if there are any risks involved and what benefits could be acquired. 

During the consultation, you could ask how many times you have to come in for treatments for you to get the best results and the amount of time per treatment.  You might also like to ask the doctor of the pain involved in the treatments as each person has a pain threshold that should also be considered should there be any pain.  By this, you would know if this doctor is the right person to the do the job for you. 

Also, one should look up on what kind of laser machines they want to do the treatment and if this is available in the clinic of the doctor that they have chosen.  It is only after you have firmly decided on the doctor and the kind of laser machine to be used that you consider on the costs of the treatments.
